VDR President: New growth bodes well for shipping

The most recent growth numbers for the global economy are promising for shipping, which seems to be leaving its crisis behind, but there are several signs of danger, warns Alfred Hartmann, President of the German Shipowners' Association.

Growth in the global economy is looking good for international shipping markets, which have hit rock bottom and are now beginning to recover, says Alfred Hartmann, President of the German Shipowners' Association VDR.
