Grimaldi urges shipping to be cautious about CO2 pledges

In the efforts to settle a joint agreement for CO2 emissions, shipping should be careful about what the sector promises, says shipowner and ICS Vice Chairman Emanuele Grimaldi, who heads carrier Finnlines.

Shipping should not commit to more in terms of the climate that the sector can actually deliver. Anything else would be irresponsible promises, says Emanuele Grimaldi, CEO of Finnlines and one of the vice chairs of the International Chamber of Shipping, in an interview with ShippingWatch.
