P&O Ferries transports record freight volumes on the English Channel

P&O Ferries is experiencing the highest freight volumes ever on a ten-year-old sailing route on the English Channel which the carrier thinks could be a direct competitor to the Calais-Dover service as the main entryway to the UK.

During the ten years, in which the service between Zeebrugge and Tilbury has been operational, P&O Ferries has never experienced higher freight rates than the carrier saw last year.
