Shipowners support blacklisting of carriers for beaching

The world's largest sovereign investment fund now excludes several shipping companies citing their scrapping of vessels on the beaches of Bangladesh and Pakistan. Association Danish Shipping supports the initiative.

Norway's Government Pension Fund Global, Oljefondet, has decided to exclude four shipping companies and has placed one company under observation, informs the owner the Norwegian Central Bank in a press release Tuesday.
