Largest custom-built feeder vessels to date in the Baltic

In a few days, Maersk is expected to deploy the first vessel from a brand new generation of feeder ships, which will be the largest custom-built vessels to sail in the Baltic. The vessels could radically change the dynamic in North European feeder sailing, reports Alphaliner.

Maersk is expected to take delivery of its first newbuilding, Vistula Maersk, a few days days from now in a series of at least seven feeder vessels from the China's Cosco yard.
