Maersk Group's plan for keeping the business ahead of the game could wind up sinking the ship, says the CEO of the world's fifth-largest carrier, Hapag-Lloyd, in response to the Danish shipping group's change in strategy.

The ambition to integrate the container business with the port terminals is "not very logical" in his opinion.
