The EU has invested billions of euros in developing LNG as a maritime fuel, but it may not prove to be the climate-friendly investment many believe it to be.
A new study from UK-based University Maritime Advisory Services (UMAS) suggests that LNG does not reduce CO2 emissions, making the funds a wasted investment. NGO Transport & Environment commissioned the survey.
