Peak season kicks off with rising spot rates
The beginning of the peak season has seen a large increase in spot rates compared to the months prior. While the increase itself has been significant, the rates in the early peak season are not particularly high, notes Seaintel.
Peak season for container rates, which runs from mid-summer to the end of November, has kicked off with a solid increase in spot rates.
