Not long ago, Maersk's Chief Digital Officer Ibrahim Gokcen was among the prominent names at the group's Capital Markets Day. Now he is leaving Maersk.

Ibrahim Gokcen was the figure who presented Maersk's high-profile cooperation with IBM March last year and thus has had an important role in the shipping company. He was also the one who talked about the crucial digital strategy at the group's most recent Capital Markets Day in February this year.

He is now leaving Maersk in the middle of a period marked by changes and the protracted transition process the group is going through.
