Panama Canal sets new record in 2018

Developments in the fiscal year 2017/2018 have taken management of the Panama Canal by surprise, and it describes the year as a record for the vital waterway. 

The Panama Canal Authority describes the fiscal year 2017/2018 as a record year for the important waterway. Tonnage volumes increased by 9.5 percent to 442.1 million Panama Canal tons compared with the previous year, says the canal.
