Critical deadline reduced to footnote in IMO climate roadmap

While a roadmap to reduce the shipping industry's environmental impact emerged last week, a critical date could lose its significance following pressure from several interests. Now, it has been reduced to a footnote.

An IMO working group has last week agreed on a roadmap setting out how the shipping industry will over the short term meet its obligations concerning the important climate plan adopted in the Spring.
