Yards have yet to deliver almost half of 2018 orders
A large share of newbuilds in the 2018 order book are still at the yards, according to new figures from Vessels Value. A major shipbuilding nation is still waiting to deliver 50 percent of its orders.
A large number of newbuilds ordered for this year are still waiting at the yards. A total 1,966 newbuilds are scheduled for delivery in 2018, but so far only 1,100 have been delivered, according to figures from Vessels Value.
