Hostages on Monjasa-chartered ship released

The crew members on board hijacked vessel Anuket Amber, chartered by bunker company Monjasa and owned by Norbulk Shipping, have been released.

The crew members on board a tanker vessel hijacked by pirates off the coast of Congo in November have been released, informs the ship's owner Norbulk Shipping in a press release.

The seafarers were taken hostage when pirates hijacked the ship off the coast of Congo in early-November 2018. Later, crew members from another ship, Ark Tze, were transferred to Anuket Amber. In total, 12 seafarers were taken hostage on board the ship.
