Study: Natural gas is not enough to meet IMO requirements

Many carriers will be shifting from heavy fuel oil (HFO) to liquid natural gas (LNG) as a more environmentally-friendly alternative. However, a new study from Imperial College London finds that natural gas cannot be the sole solution for carriers looking to comply with the IMO's shipping climate targets.
