At shipping and logistics group DFDS, which has the UK as one of its core markets, the news of a preliminary postponement of Brexit is a good thing, as it means that the contingency plans can remain in the drawer a little while longer, and thus gives the company more time to prepare.

"This is really good news for DFDS and the many colleagues who had planned to be stand-by to assist our customers and be able to quickly solve Brexit issues round the clock after March 29," says CEO Niels Smedegaard to ShippingWatch.
