China will raise tariffs on US goods from June 1

China announces it will introduce tariffs on US goods from June 1 this year. This happens after the US increased its tariffs on Chinese goods last week.

From June 1, China will raise its tariffs on several US goods, informs the Chinese ministry of finance.

This comes a few days after the US added further fuel to the fire in a prolonged trade conflict between the US and China by raising tariffs on Chinese goods valued at USD 200 billion.
