Frontline rules out ship malfunction as cause of explosion

Although Frontline does not yet know the cause of yesterday's explosion on its vessel Front Altair, the tanker company now rules out a malfunction on the ship, management informs ShippingWatch.

It was not a malfunction on tanker Front Altair that caused yesterday's explosion aboard the vessel, setting it on fire in the Gulf of Oman, informs the tanker company in an e-mail to ShippingWatch.
