Iraq denies ties to vessel detained by Iran

According to Iran, it was an Iraqi oil tanker that Iranian special forces seized in the Persian Gulf on Sunday. But Iraq's Ministry of Oil denies any ties to the vessel.

Iran has detained an oil tanker in the Persian Gulf as, according to Iran, it was smuggling oil to several Arab states. Iran claims the vessel is Iraqi, but Iraq's Ministry of Oil categorically denies any ties to the ship, writes Reuters.
