Two UK-bound DFDS ships rerouted to Turkey

DFDS has sent two mega-ferries, initially intended for the UK, to Turkey, the operator confirms to ShippingWatch and attributes the change of plan to a combination of Brexit and a major deal in Turkey.

Two DFDS ships ended up being deployed to another location than initially intended.

The two vessels are mega-sized freight ferries ordered back in 2017 and were originally meant for the UK. The ships are now stationed in Turkey, DFDS confirms with ShippingWatch.
