Female managers in the majority at Svitzer
There are incredibly few female managers in the Danish shipping industry – except at Svitzer, where four in seven managers are women. "I've never felt like either a pioneer or a victim," says CCO Lise Demant in an interview with ShippingWatch.
With four women out of seven senior managers in the Copenhagen branch, tugboat operator Svitzer is a rarity within shipping, and probably in a broader business context, too.
