Maritime companies on coronavirus shutdown: Drastic but necessary

Equipment manufacturers in particular could be impacted by the 14-day "shutdown of Denmark". But the 7,000 employees at carrier headquarters and other offices will also see their workdays affected.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen's dramatic announcement Wednesday evening that large parts of Denmark must shut down for 14 days due to coronavirus will have noticeable consequences for shipping companies and, not least, equipment manufacturers.
