New alliance of shipowners want politicians to ensure crew changes
Shipping lines like Norden and Grieg Star as well as ship managers like V.Group and Synergy have banded together in a distress call to politicians, who should immediately ensure than crews can be changed aboard vessels. They propose eight specific ports for crew changes.
A number of the world's major shipping companies now band together in a joint call on politicians, by which they urge intently that it should be possible to change crews aboard ships hit by corona restrictions.
