Stena CEO on furloughed staff: Many will not be reemployed

Stena group's CEO asserts that many dismissed employees of ferry operator Stena Line will not be hired again once the coronavirus crisis has passed. The group also prepares for the crisis to last longer than in Asia.

Many of the 950 employees of Stena Line sent on furlough due to the corona crisis will not be reemployed once the pandemic passes and passenger traffic returns to more normal levels, says Stena Chief Executive Dan Sten Olsson in the shipping company's annual review.
