Norwegian shipping companies will work toward climate neutral fleet by 2050

The Norwegian Shipowners' Association will make the country's fleet climate neutral within the next 30 years, according to a new plan. "If the industry does not take these challenges seriously now, they will grow bigger over time," says CEO Harald Solberg.

While the coronavirus outbreak has made several European shipping companies lose faith in otherwise planned climate investments this year, the Norwegian Shipowners' Association has presented a plan that commits its members to pursue ambitious climate targets.
