Wilhelmsen owners pocket NOK 900 million in dividends in five years

The owner families behind Norwegian Wilhelmsen have in the past five years bagged dividends totaling around NOK 900 million. Several of the families want to simplify the ownership structure, which currently grants a lot of power to the Wilhelm Wilhelmsen branch.

In five years, the Wilhelmsen family, which owns, among other things, the Norwegian car carrier, has received almost NOK 900 million (USD 100.9 million) in dividends, shows a review of financial reports from the family's owner entities done by Finansavisen.
