The migrant crisis on board a Maersk Tankers vessel in the Mediterranean appears to have reached the top political levels in Denmark as well as the EU.

EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen wrote Tuesday on Twitter that she has been in dialog with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (Social Democrat) about the ongoing situation in the Mediterranean.
