Maersk Supply Service and Ørsted plan ship-charging trial

The two Danish companies' new initiative seeks to provide more green electricity to maritime transport.

Maersk Supply Service, a part of A.P. Moller-Maersk, and utility Ørsted have joined forces to test a charging station at sea that might be able to replace a portion of marine fuel with green electricity, Maersk Supply Service informs in a press statement Monday morning.
