Ship sales gain traction again after worst quarter since 2008

Ship sales have rallied to pre-coronavirus levels during the third quarter of this year, writes analyst firm Alphaliner. In the second quarter, however, ship sales were as low as in 2008.

165 container ships - equivalent to 622,000 teu - have changed hands so far this year following a significant drop in sales in April.
