Cadeler in talks to buy new installation vessel and cranes worth USD 400 million

Yet another offshore stakeholder now goes all in on the booming wind market. Wind service operator Cadeler is in talks to buy a new ship and new cranes for a total price of USD 400 million. A few weeks ago, the Scorpio Group also announced a move to enter the wind business.

Wind service operator Cadeler, previously known as Swire Blue Ocean, is in full swing preparing for its IPO.

Ahead of the IPO, Cadeler has issued a prospectus, which is a detailed description of the company. It also outlines the risks associated with investing in the company, just as it lists its ambitions and details the growing market for offshore wind.
