Ferry operator DFDS takes the Oslo ferry out of service temporarily after new, tighter travel restrictions from the Danish government.

DFDS temporarily halts sailing with Oslo ferry Pearl Seaways following the new and tighter travel restrictions announced by the Danish government on Friday, the company confirms to ShippingWatch.

The idling of the ferry means that DFDS has informed labor union Metal Maritime that its crew is sent home on state-paid wage compensation, writes association CO-Søfart.
