DFDS is hesitant about earnings target from its growth plan

After significant setbacks in terms of revenue and earnings in 2020, DFDS now adjusts the targets of its ambitious growth plan. "We're a little hesitant until we get to the other side of the pandemic and see the passenger side return," CEO Torben Carlsen tells ShippingWatch.

DFDS launched a five-year growth plan in 2019, which aimed to double the group's operating income (EBITDA) to DKK 5.5 billion (USD 896 million) by 2023 at the latest as well as grow more than the market in Europe.
