Seaspan secures USD 300 million through sustainability-linked bonds

Seaspan has secured USD 300 million through sustainability-linked bonds in the Nordic market. This is the second time this year that the shipowner has raised money through sustainable bonds, which are conditional on a number of sustainability targets.

Shipowner Seaspan, which charters ships to container carriers, has secured USD 300 million through sustainability-linked bonds.

The funds will be used for "general business purposes, which may include debt repayment," writes Seaspan in an announcement.
