Avance Gas grew in the second quarter due to high rates. The company expects lower rates in the second quarter but sees a market that is slowly becoming more balanced.

Norwegian carrier Avance Gas is off to a good start with growing profits on the bottom line.

The company reported net profit of USD 18.9 million in the first quarter compared to USD 15 million in the same period last year.
