
While some lenders and shipowners are warning that the current spectacular container rates may soon be heading south as a flotilla of container newbuilds hits the water in the coming years, others strike a more positive tone.
Berenberg, a Hamburg-based German bank with a growing business in ship finance, is "relatively optimistic" on behalf of the container market, at least with respect to the coming two years.
