Shipowners jammed if charterers demand transport to Russia

Charterers are permitted to demand of shipowners to sail to Russia against their will if these have not insured themselves legally. Some shipowners have chosen to turn back on the way to Russian harbors, maritime lawyer Johannes Grove Nielsen tells ShippingWatch.
