Major carriers except two have dropped port calls in St. Petersburg

Most container carriers have stopped sailing to the Port of St. Petersburg in Russia, where container volumes have declined drastically since February. Two major liner companies, however, still call at port on some routes, writes Alphaliner.

Very few carriers still approach the port terminal of St. Petersburg.

More specifically, port call volumes have fallen from 96,000 teu in the beginning of February to 15,700 teu per June 1, writes Alphaliner.
