
CMA CGM continues its hunt for second-hand container vessels. The major French carrier has just acquired an additional four of the kind, writes analyst firm Alphaliner, adding up to a total of 80 purchases since August 2020.
Consequently, CMA CGM is the box carrier – after Swiss-Italian MSC – which has acquired most container tonnage in the world on the second-hand market in the last almost two years.
