Zacho: "It's about sustainability – and behaving properly"

Today, experienced shipping profile Mads Peter Zacho takes over as chief executive of gas carrier Navigator, having spent a couple of years focusing on the green transformation at the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping. ShippingWatch has interviewed the newly appointed CEO.

Today, as Mads Zacho walks through the doors at Navigator Gas for the first time as CEO, he is bringing along many years of shipping experience and a solid green profile.

Since 2020, 53-year-old Zacho, who previously served for four years as chief executive at carrier J. Lauritzen, has been taking a break from top positions in the shipping industry, instead working for the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping.
