Gard warns customers about monkeypox after declaration as public health emergency

Marine insurer Gard encourages its customers to keep an eye on the development of the monkeypox outbreak after cases have been reported in all six WHO regions.

Norwegian marine insurance company Gard is alerting its customers to the risk of monkeypox in a new customer advisory statement. The insurer is asking ship operators to ”stay alert to the situation.”
