DFDS sharing capacity with P&O Ferries amid ongoing French investigation

DFDS and P&O Ferries are sharing ferry capacity on the English Channel – even though French competition authorities have yet to approve such an arrangement. British authorities have green-lit the deal.

Two competitors on the English Channel, DFDS and P&O Ferries, are utilizing a new cooperation deal on the Dover-Calais route to share ferry capacity, as confirmed by DFDS Chief Executive Torben Carlsen.

This is despite an ongoing investigation of the deal by French authorities.
