Norden avoids potential penalty in case of fake logbooks due to statute of limitation

After investigating and assessing for one and a half year, the prosecutor has closed the case against carrier Norden, which for years until 2019 fabricated fake logbooks in order to hide transports to Israel. The reason is statute of limitation and lack of evidence, says prosecutor.

Danish company Norden avoids punishment in a case where the tanker and dry cargo operator for several years up until July 2019 constructed fake logbooks and performed other measures to hide voyages to Israel, the prosecution authority confirms to ShippingWatch.
