Workplace tribunal postpones Svitzer lockout for six months

Svitzer’s announced lockout in Australia has been postponed by six months to March 18, a decision made by Asustralia’s Fair Work Commission. As such, the country dodges shipping chaos in 17 ports. Updated.

Svitzer’s lockout, which would have shut down operations in 17 ports in Australia as of Friday noon, local time, has been suspended for six months until mid May 2023.
