Problems delay Norwegian offshore wind operator
Two vessels from Norwegian offshore wind service operator Edda Wind won’t be put to work in January as planned due to delays of key system installations.
”Edda Breeze and Edda Brint have both been delivered from the respective yards and are currently in the process of installing the gangway systems in Denmark. Based on evaluation of the progress and remaining work, Edda Wind estimates that there will be a delay in completing the installation and commissioning of the gangway systems compared to what has previously been reported,” writes the company in a stock exchange announcement.
Instead, Edda Breeze and Edda Brint are expected to commence their respective long-term charter contracts in the beginning of March.
