Fewer seafarers trapped onboard ships

The number of crew members trapped aboard merchant vessels due to Covid restrictions are dwindling, new tally shows.

2.7 percent of the world’s seafarers on merchant vessels are trapped at various ports in spite having completed their contract, reads the latest tally from the Neptune Declaration Crew Change Indicator.
