German carriers think that discrimination is an issue – but won't investigate
The German Shipowners’ Association won’t investigate the extent of harassment in the industry even though the organization’s female president has experienced discrimination herself.
It drew attention when the president of the German Shipowners’ Association (VDR) spoke out and drew herself into the debate regarding gender discrimination aboard German vessels.
