Norway's minister of finance affirms: No changes to carriers' tax benefits
A proposal on rejecting Norwegian carriers’ tax scheme, which is similar to the Danish tonnage tax, won’t be effectuated, ensures Norway’s minister of finance after strong reactions from the industry.
A cheering audience met Norwegian Minister of Finance Trygve Slagsvold Vedum on Tuesday at the annual conference of the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association (NSA) when he ensured shipowners that their tax scheme won’t be revised.
