EU shipowners want to tighten demands for fuel suppliers

European ports and shipowners bid welcome EU agreement on fuel demands, but ports want flexibility in infrastructure while shipowners want binding demands for suppliers.

It is an overall positive that the EU Parliament and Council have agreed on how shipping can reduce its emissions via green fuels in coming years, multiple European shipowners and ports posit.
