Every third container could become traceable in five years

According to Drewry, the share of intelligent containers that can be tracked by both customers and shipping companies will multiply in the coming years.

Maritime analytical consultancy Drewry posits that even though freighters still have only a few trackable containers on board, more and more containers will be equipped with the technology within the coming years.
