Lack of car carriers delays China's entry into the European car market

Weak domestic demand is forcing China’s automakers to export cheap cars. Sales are booming, helped by cheap raw materials and government subsidies, according to media reports.

Cheap Chinese cars with gasoline engines are well on their way to taking over the global car market, and only an acute shortage of car ships that can carry new cars is delaying the entry of Chinese cars into Europe, according to the New York Times.
