Carrier pays close to USD 4 million to jump cue at the Panama Canal

Japanese shipping company has placed the bid to get to the front of the queue at the drought-stricken waterway, reports Bloomberg.

Japan’s Eneos Group now seems to hold the record for the highest amount paid to transit the Panama Canal at just less than USD 4 million.
